Doe bought the ticket at Admiral Petroleum #5896, located at 542 N. Wayne Road, in Westland. She and her husband decided to try their luck by purchasing two tickets for the Super Raffle, a game they found appealing due to its odds. According to Doe, the couple completely forgot about their tickets until recently checking their numbers on the Michigan Lottery website.
“My husband and I liked the odds of the Super Raffle game, so we bought two tickets,” Doe explained. “We forgot we had the tickets, so it wasn’t until recently that we checked our raffle numbers on MichiganLottery.com.”
To their astonishment, one of the numbers returned a $100 win, while the second revealed the life-changing $100,000 prize. “We took the ticket to the store to double-check it, but it wasn’t until we went to a Lottery office to have them check it that we believed we really won. It was exhilarating,” she stated.
Upon verifying her win at the Lottery headquarters, Doe expressed her excitement and plans for the newfound fortune. She intends to invest in home renovations and save the remainder for future needs, marking a significant turn in her financial landscape.
