San Pedro’s performance was marked by a dominant fourth quarter where they outscored Palos Verdes 20-10, forcing the game into overtime. “We had to come together offensively, knowing our strengths and we played harder on defense,” said San Pedro’s standout player, Ricky Alonso.
As tension mounted in the overtime period, Palos Verdes briefly took a 58-57 lead with two free throws from Luke Dalis. However, San Pedro quickly responded with a decisive 6-0 run, taking a commanding 63-58 lead.
