Presbyterian College maintained its undefeated streak with a commanding 42-7 victory over Stetson University on October 21, 2023, in Clinton, South Carolina. The Blue Hose showcased their offensive strength, with running back Justin Montgomery leading the charge by scoring three touchdowns, solidifying their position in the Pioneer Football League (PFL) with a record of 3-0.

Montgomery, who rushed for a total of 54 yards on eight attempts, opened the scoring with two touchdowns in the first half. His contributions, along with scores from Antonio Wright and Ty Englehart, propelled Presbyterian to a substantial 35-0 lead by the start of the fourth quarter.

The game’s momentum shifted early, as Presbyterian’s starting quarterback Collin Hurst threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Cincere Gill in the second quarter, further extending their lead. Hurst finished the game with an impressive 236 passing yards before Englehart took over in the fourth quarter. Englehart capped off the scoring for the Blue Hose with a 6-yard touchdown run, bringing the final score to 42-7.

Stetson, now at 3-5 overall and 2-2 in the PFL, managed to score in the fourth quarter when Cayden Betts caught a 26-yard pass from quarterback Gunnar Chenier. Despite this late effort, the Hatters were unable to mount a serious challenge against the dominant Presbyterian team.
