The suspected Afghan terrorist, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, will face upgraded charges of first-degree murder following an ambush that resulted in the death of one National Guard soldier and left another critically injured. Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, announced on Friday that the charges were being elevated from initial assault counts.
