UPDATE: A fire in northwest Rochester has led to one person being hospitalized following a dramatic response from emergency crews late Wednesday night. Authorities report that firefighters were dispatched to 3639 Nottingham Dr. NW at approximately 10 p.m. on December 31, 2023, after receiving reports of a blaze.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered visible smoke and flames emanating from the front of a split-level home. Initial assessments revealed that the fire was primarily confined to the front entryway but had spread to other areas within the residence, causing significant smoke damage throughout the structure.
One occupant of the home was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys for evaluation due to burn injuries.
