UPDATE: The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect linked to a recent burglary and multiple fraudulent activities in Northeast D.C.. The crime occurred on October 26, 2025, around 8:28 p.m., when the suspect reportedly entered a residence in the 600 block of 8th Street while the occupants were present and stole personal items, including bank cards.

Following the break-in, several attempts were made to use the stolen bank cards at local businesses, compounding the distress for the victims involved.
