UPDATE: The highly anticipated 33rd annual Christmas with the Chefs is happening on December 13, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa. Tickets are available now, with early bird prices set at $135.

Executive Chef Ash Danao will lead the culinary charge. With roots on a coffee farm in Honaunau, Chef Ash’s upbringing is steeped in the values of community and family hospitality. “We always have gatherings, especially at harvest time,” he shared. “Everyone took pride in bringing their best dish to show off and talk story.” His menu will include standout dishes like Russet Potato Croissant with Savory Herbed Cream and Uala (Sweet Potato) Truffles.
In addition to the main event, food enthusiasts in Maui can look forward to the Coastal Culinary Collaboration at Montage Kapalua Bay, running from December 12-15. This series will feature renowned Chef Neal Maloney, who will present a unique pairing of oysters and champagne on December 12. Guests can enjoy coastal bites and an oyster raw bar for $195 per person at Champagne Hale.
On December 13, as part of the hotel’s new Friends of the Chef Series, Chef Maloney will join Chef Purpura for an exquisite four-course wine dinner celebrating California-Hawaiian seafood cuisine.
Chef Maloney will also host a poolside oyster shucking event on December 14, with prices starting at $28 per half dozen at the newly renovated Sunset Pool.
