A flagship highway project includes the four-laning of National Highway-167 between Gudebellur and Mahabubnagar as part of the Hyderabad–Panaji Economic Corridor. With an investment exceeding ₹3,175 crore, this upgrade is projected to cut travel time by 90 minutes, reduce fuel costs, and streamline traffic, directly impacting industrial logistics between Telangana and Karnataka.
At the industrial front, Modi will lay the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in the Sangareddy district. Rail and Healthcare Upgrades Strengthen Regional Backbone
In rail infrastructure, Modi will dedicate projects valued around ₹1,535 crore, notably sections of the Kazipet–Vijayawada multi-tracking line covering 118 kilometers. This expansion is set to increase line capacity on the busy Grand Trunk route, facilitating faster trains, reducing congestion, and enhancing freight movement efficiency. The newly completed Kazipet Rail Under Rail Bypass will ease bottlenecks by enabling simultaneous train movements on key routes, cutting delays for passengers and cargo alike.
Energy and fuel logistics also receive a boost with the dedication of the Indian Oil Greenfield Terminal at Malkapur, Hyderabad, developed for over ₹600 crore. With a storage capacity of 1,65,000 kilolitres, this facility is critical in enhancing fuel supply chains across Telangana and bordering states.
In healthcare, Modi will inaugurate Sindhu Hospital, a cutting-edge, 18-story, cancer-focused super specialty hospital in Hyderabad. Spread over 2.1 million square feet with 1,500 beds and 29 operation theaters, the not-for-profit center offers advanced treatments like chemotherapy, bone marrow transplants, and critical care. It features 33 specialty departments with top-tier labs, aiming to dramatically improve cancer care access in the region.
