URGENT UPDATE: Philz Coffee has officially opened its first-ever drive-thru location in Northern California, located in Pleasanton. This innovative setup allows coffee lovers to enjoy their favorite pour-over while on the go, marking a significant milestone for the popular coffee chain.
The new store, which opened last week, is designed to cater to both drive-thru customers and those wishing to relax inside. With seating for 35 people, it provides a cozy atmosphere, but the eye-catching exterior is what sets this location apart. The building features stunning custom murals by California artist Lauren Cooper, celebrating local landmarks like Pleasanton Ridge, the iconic downtown arch, and the Alameda County Fair’s horse track.
Customers can expect a unique experience as the drive-thru lane is designed to efficiently serve Philz’s signature pour-over coffee—a process that typically takes a few minutes to brew. This is only the second Philz location to offer a drive-thru, expanding the company’s reach to a total of 79 locations across the country.
The Pleasanton location is open Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekends from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is situated at 1803 Santa Rita Rd. For more information, visit philzcoffee.com.
This new drive-thru option is expected to capture significant attention, enhancing convenience for busy customers while maintaining the quality Philz is known for. As coffee culture continues to evolve, Philz Coffee is setting a new standard in Northern California, blending artistry and efficiency in one innovative location.
