UPDATE: Los Angeles County has just opened an additional 140 vote centers for the upcoming November 4, 2025 statewide special election. This expansion supplements the already established 111 sites, ensuring voters have ample opportunities to participate in crucial decisions regarding the redrawing of California’s congressional districts.
All 251 vote centers will be operational from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, providing in-person voting, voter registration, and the return of vote-by-mail ballots. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility and encourage early voting among residents.
Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk Dean C. Logan emphasized the importance of this expansion, stating,
“With all L.A. County Vote Centers open, voters have convenient options to cast their ballot early. Avoid the rush, make a plan to vote early this weekend or Monday at a location that’s convenient for you.”
Voters can find their nearest vote center through the county’s official site at locator.lavote.gov, which includes an optional GPS tracking feature to pinpoint locations. Additionally, eligible voters who missed registration deadlines can still participate by completing a “conditional” voter registration at any vote center and casting their ballot.
This election is vital as it involves significant changes to congressional districting in California, making every vote count more than ever. With the polls now open at prominent locations such as the Millennium Biltmore Tower and Metro Headquarters, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the extended voting facilities to ensure their voices are heard.
