Fox News Host Critiques Democrats Ahead of Major Protests

UPDATE: As the nation braces for a major wave of protests, Fox News host Jesse Watters has publicly criticized the Democrats’ ability to organize and present their messages effectively. Just ahead of the anticipated No Kings rallies, set to take place on Saturday, June 10, Watters expressed skepticism about the authenticity of these gatherings, claiming they often lead to chaos rather than constructive discourse.
During a segment on Friday, Watters stated, “The Democrats, every time they do gather together, it’s not mostly peaceful.” He highlighted previous protests, including the BLM riots and anti-Musk demonstrations, suggesting they often escalate into violence or destruction. Watters contrasted these events with the Republican-led Tea Party movement, which he described as a more genuine grassroots effort.
The upcoming No Kings rallies are anticipated to attract a staggering 2,500 protests across the United States, significantly more than the 2,000 cities that participated in similar demonstrations just five months ago. Organizers claim these protests are a direct response to President Donald Trump‘s perceived authoritarian policies, including a rise in ICE raids and attacks on critical media.
In a controversial statement, GOP Senator Roger Marshall warned that the rallies might attract “paid actors, agitators, Pro-Hamas, and Antifa members,” expressing doubt about their peaceful nature. “We’ll have to get the National Guard out,” he added, underscoring the tension surrounding this weekend’s events.
The No Kings protests come after an initial wave in June that saw over 5 million people take to the streets. Organizers argue that Trump has only intensified his oppressive agenda since then, raising the stakes for the upcoming demonstrations. As the country prepares for what could be a significant moment in the ongoing political struggle, Watters remains unconvinced of the movement’s staying power, stating, “I don’t know if this has legs.”
As the nation watches closely, the outcome of the No Kings rallies could significantly impact the political landscape leading into the upcoming election cycle. Stay tuned for live updates as this situation unfolds.
