Five Arrested in Fairbanks for Major Illegal Gambling Operation

BREAKING: Five individuals have been arrested in Fairbanks, Alaska, following a police investigation into a significant illegal gambling operation that was uncovered late Friday night. The Fairbanks Police Department (FPD) confirmed the arrests after officers discovered numerous “casino-style ‘fish table’ machines” and ‘Fire Kirin’ gambling games at two locations: 510 Old Steese Highway and 1521 Stacia Street.

During the raid, FPD seized over $55,000 in gambling equipment, along with $45,053 in cash, seven cell phones, six computers, and a vehicle. Officers noted that both sites featured cash-based payouts and maintained detailed records of daily wins and losses, further confirming their operation as unlicensed gambling establishments.

FPD’s investigation revealed that these two locations were operating together as part of a coordinated illegal gambling enterprise. Evidence collected included matching financial logs and electronic spreadsheets, indicating a unified operation between the addresses.

Each of the five suspects faces multiple charges, including promoting gambling, possession of gambling records, and possession of gambling devices.
