Running back Caron Madison added to the score with a 3-yard touchdown, while Cosma himself rushed in for a 4-yard score.
Gavilan managed to put points on the board thanks to Luis Sanchez, who kicked a 35-yard field goal. The Rams’ only touchdown came from Ayjyan Johnson, who scored on a 7-yard run in the third quarter. However, missed opportunities plagued Gavilan, including a failed extra-point attempt that left them down 21-9.
In a thrilling turn of events late in the third quarter, Cosma connected with Cruz Ferris for a 47-yard touchdown just a mere 35 seconds later. Following a pivotal turnover, where Alberto Peguero stripped the ball from Gavilan’s kick returner, Brian Flores recovered at the Rams’ 22-yard line. Cosma capped off the drive with an 8-yard touchdown pass to Madison, solidifying the Seahawks’ lead at 35-9.
