BREAKING: Bemidji High School’s production of “The Addams Family” has just been awarded multiple honors by the Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Spotlight Education program, recognizing artistic excellence in theatre education. This significant achievement highlights the school’s commitment to high-caliber performance, storytelling, and student development within the arts.
The Spotlight Education program, which evaluates productions across Minnesota, announced the awards following the school’s November performance. This year, the program has recognized numerous students for their outstanding contributions, representing some of the highest accolades available in high school theatre.
Among the honored students, Sophia Hordichok received accolades for her role as Wednesday Addams, while Benjamin Schoneck was recognized for his portrayal of Gomez Addams. Other notable mentions include Annika Selberg as Alice Beineke, Isabel Neal as Morticia Addams, and Brionna Zierden, who excelled in technical leadership as a stagehand.
