Beloved Doctor Patricia Huber Passes Away at 77 in Coopersburg

UPDATE: The community mourns the loss of Patricia “Pat” Anne Huber, who tragically passed away at the age of 77 on December 7, 2025, at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill in Coopersburg, PA. Known for her compassionate spirit and dedication to medicine, Pat’s passing leaves a profound impact on family, friends, and patients alike.

Pat, the beloved daughter of the late Maurice Duane Huber and Jean Anne Fretz, was a devoted wife to her husband, Dr. Steve Sisson, for 35 years. A proud graduate of the University of Rochester, she furthered her education by earning her M.D. from the University of Texas at Galveston. Pat completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where she built a remarkable career characterized by intelligence, dedication, and care.

Beyond her medical career, Pat had a zest for life that included a passion for cooking, gardening, and floral arranging. She was known for gathering friends and family around her table, celebrating the joys of good food and companionship. Her love for reading transported her to different worlds, while her cherished cats, Toby and Russo, provided her with comfort and joy.

Pat’s most treasured relationship was with her daughter, Dana Sisson, who she considered her best friend. Together, they shared countless moments filled with laughter and love. A pillar of her community, Pat was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she found purpose, friendship, and a deep connection to her faith.

Calling hours for Patricia will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, from 1-2 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, located at 150 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049.
