Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman Reveals Daily Life Secrets

UPDATE: Hannah Neeleman, co-founder of the thriving Ballerina Farm in Utah, shares an intimate glimpse into her life as a mother of eight and a successful content creator. With 21 million followers across social media, Neeleman’s daily routine is a striking blend of family, faith, and farming.
Just moments ago, Neeleman detailed her morning rituals that start at 7 a.m. when her toddlers wake her up. “That’s my alarm clock, and it’s the best,” she said. Mornings are devoted to preparing her children for school and sharing prayers over breakfast, which includes yogurt from their creamery.
Founded in 2017, Ballerina Farm spans an impressive 328 acres and started as a free-range pig farm. The Neelemans aimed to create a family business that allowed them to work together without relying on childcare. With around 100 employees today, they are passionate about their mission to promote sustainable agriculture and family values in their community.
Every day is different for the Neelemans. Tuesdays are dedicated to filming cooking videos, where Hannah tests recipes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. “Recipe testing is such a fun day because I love being creative,” she expressed. The seasons heavily influence her content, as she incorporates fresh ingredients like ripe tomatoes and lamb’s milk from their farm.
Lunch is a cherished family affair around 1 p.m., featuring hearty meals of carbs, protein, and vegetables. Dinner is more casual, accommodating the busy schedules of their children involved in various sports and activities.
Ballerina Farm also includes a brick-and-mortar store where customers can buy baked goods, produce, and farm products. As the family continues to grow the brand, they emphasize building a legacy rather than a massive corporation. “We want to create something with meaning and depth,” Hannah noted.
After the children settle down, which usually occurs around 9 p.m., Hannah dedicates her time to editing and skincare. She uses tallow-based products for her nighttime routine, emphasizing self-care as she balances her roles as a mother and business owner.
The family’s commitment to faith is also evident; they strive to maintain a sacred Sunday by attending church and minimizing work discussions. “It’s a constant journey thinking about how we can put the cleanest, best products in people’s hands,” Hannah stated.
As they grow their agritourism experience, the Neelemans encourage others to learn about self-reliance and sustainable practices. “That’s what fuels me, and it’s the most exciting part of our business,” she concluded.
Stay tuned for more updates from Ballerina Farm as Hannah and Daniel continue to inspire millions with their commitment to family and farming.
