Seth Rollins Discusses Injury Recovery and WWE Comeback Plans

WWE superstar Seth Rollins has provided fans with an update on his recovery from a shoulder injury sustained during the 2025 Crown Jewel match against Cody Rhodes. In a recent appearance on Bret Kreischer’s YouTube cooking show, Something’s Cooking, Rollins shared insights into his rehabilitation process and when he anticipates returning to the ring.

Rollins Reflects on Recovery Phase

During the cooking segment, Kreischer engaged Rollins and his wife, fellow wrestler Becky Lynch, in a light-hearted conversation while preparing a meal. When Kreischer made a comment about the advantages of being injured while not on tour, Rollins responded candidly about his situation.

“There’s nothing good about being hurt,” Rollins stated, but he acknowledged some positives, particularly spending more time with his daughter. He noted that the shoulder brace he is currently wearing will be removed in about a month, which he views as a turning point in his recovery. “Once I get this thing off… it might be full vacation mode for a little while,” he said, indicating a brief period of relaxation before he resumes training.

Rollins elaborated on what his training regimen might look like following his recovery. He anticipates a gradual return to fitness, estimating it will take about eight to twelve weeks to get back into shape. “My guess is about 8 to 12 weeks of ‘Okay, now I have to stop eating like an a**hole,’” he joked, highlighting the challenges athletes face during recovery.

Return Timeline Speculation

Kreischer calculated that if Rollins begins training in twelve weeks, it would coincide with April 2025. Rollins expressed hope that he would be ready to start training in February, after the holiday season. “So I’m hoping, around February, after all the holiday stuff, I can start to be like, ‘Okay lock in, no more BS,’” he remarked.

Lynch chimed in, suggesting that February would be a good time for Rollins to begin training. “Like after Super Bowl and stuff, I would say. Like give myself a month before I come backish,” she added. Rollins acknowledged the timeframe, saying, “They say six months, so this could be April,” indicating that while he has plans, the exact timing of his return remains uncertain.

Seth Rollins’ journey back to the ring will be closely followed by fans eager to see him compete again. His openness about the challenges of recovery serves as a reminder of the physical demands professional wrestlers face in their careers.
