The Mississippi Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal vehicle crash that occurred late on November 18, 2023, on U.S. 61 in Adams County. The accident resulted in the death of 26-year-old Precious Clark from Port Gibson, Mississippi.
At approximately 23:00 local time, officers responded to the scene where Clark was driving a 2014 Honda Accord southbound on U.S. 61. According to preliminary reports, Clark’s vehicle left the roadway and collided with a concrete culvert. She sustained critical injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A three-year-old passenger in the vehicle was ejected during the incident and was subsequently transported to Merit Health in Natchez with severe injuries. The condition of the child has not been disclosed, but authorities have indicated that the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
