Dodgers Celebrate Back-to-Back Championships with Parade in L.A.

The Los Angeles Dodgers secured their second consecutive World Series title after defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in a thrilling seven-game series. The victory marks a historic achievement, making the Dodgers the first Major League Baseball (MLB) team in 25 years to win back-to-back championships. To celebrate this remarkable feat, the team will host a victory parade in Downtown Los Angeles on November 3, 2023.

Parade Details and Route

The parade is set to commence at 11:00 AM local time, beginning at the intersection of Temple Street and Broadway, just north of Grand Park. From there, the procession will move west on Temple Street, then head south along Grand Avenue. The route will continue west on 7th Street before concluding a few blocks north on Figueroa Street at 5th Street.

Attendance to the parade is free, allowing fans to join in the celebration without the need for tickets. However, a separate ticketed event will take place at Dodger Stadium at 12:15 PM, with tickets going on sale at noon on November 2, 2023. Due to timing constraints, attendees will not be able to participate in both events.

Transportation and Viewing Options

Attendees are advised against driving to the parade due to expected road closures and heavy traffic. The parade route is conveniently located near four Metro stations: Civic Center/Grand Park, Grand Ave Arts/Bunker Hill, Pershing Square, and 7th St/Metro Center. Several other stations, including Historic Broadway, Union Station, and Little Tokyo/Arts District, are just a short walk away.

For those unable to attend in person, the parade will be broadcast on various platforms. Fans can watch the festivities on the MLB Network and MLB.com, with local coverage beginning earlier on channels such as SportsNet L.A., CBS 2, NBC 4, KTLA 5, ABC 7, KCAL 9, and Fox 11, along with radio coverage on AM 570.

As fans prepare for the celebration, it’s worth noting the experience from last year’s parade. Many attendees encountered challenges with traffic and parking. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early and consider using public transportation to avoid congestion.

The Dodgers’ victory parade promises to be a joyous occasion for players and fans alike, celebrating a significant achievement in the franchise’s history.
