Originating from Numbulwar in East Arnhem Land, Spicer played a total of 12 games for North Melbourne in the Australian Football League (AFL) between 2021 and 2023, having been drafted from the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club South Adelaide. After his time with North Melbourne, he also contributed to the Footscray Bulldogs in the Victorian Football League (VFL) over two seasons.
