Stacey Hatfield, a popular influencer known for her healthy food recipes and wellness advocacy, tragically died on September 29, 2025, after experiencing an “extremely rare complication” during a home birth in Melbourne. Her husband, Nathan Hatfield, shared the devastating news, revealing that their first child, Axel, was successfully delivered but Stacey faced unforeseen complications shortly thereafter.

According to Nathan, Stacey passed away despite efforts from hospital staff to save her. In a heartfelt tribute, he described his wife as his “soul mate” and the “light of my life.” He noted that the couple had shared many joyous moments together, highlighting their wedding in the Maldives as the happiest day of his life. “I knew Stace for nine amazing years; she was the reason I got up in the morning,” Nathan expressed.

Stacey was well-known for her website, Natural Spoonfuls, where she chronicled her health journey, which began due to various personal health challenges including digestive issues and low energy. Her dedication to promoting a natural, toxin-free lifestyle resonated with a large audience, making her a prominent figure in the wellness community.

Nathan recalled how Stacey lived a simple, stress-free life, finding peace in nature and cherishing her moments with their French Bulldog, Winter. “Her favorite pastime was reading a book with a mug of green tea,” he shared, illustrating her love for a tranquil existence. He emphasized that being a mother was her greatest dream, stating, “She loved being pregnant and told our son she loved him every day.”

Their journey together included travels to numerous countries, where they created lasting memories—swimming in the blue lakes of Switzerland and climbing mountains in Norway. Nathan expressed gratitude for these moments, stating, “They’re ones I will cherish for the rest of my life.”

Professionally, Stacey was a self-starter who founded Natural Spoonfuls in 2019. In 2023, she expanded her endeavors by launching a social media content creation company called Waffl, which focused on developing content for food brands. Nathan praised her work ethic and accomplishments, saying, “I was privileged to help her complete her vision throughout the years.”

In his tribute, Nathan expressed appreciation for those who have reached out during this heartbreaking time. He stated, “If there’s one thing I can reconcile in this horrible time, it is that her last moments on earth were the happiest I’ve ever seen her.” He concluded by celebrating Stacey’s vibrant spirit, remembering her as the “green-eyed, blond-haired girl whose smile could fill a room.”

Stacey Hatfield’s untimely passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew and loved her, as well as in the wellness community she inspired.
