Kanye West has responded to circulating rumors regarding a leaked collaborative album with James Blake, titled *War*. The speculation intensified earlier this week when musician Albe Back claimed on Instagram that he authored a song named “What I Would’ve Said At Virgil’s Funeral.” West swiftly denied these allegations, stating on Twitter/X, “This is not real.”
Albe Back, however, maintains his position and suggested that the story garnered attention due to a lack of news. He stated in his Instagram Story, “Must of been a slow news day,” adding, “But I’ll pass a poly for sure.” Despite the back-and-forth, West did not relent. He reiterated his stance on social media, asserting, “Ask James Blake. The whole album that leaked is made from freestyles that I did with James over his beats. You can tell because there’s missing words. The melody is super special when I sing ‘always.'”
Clarifying Recent Claims
This incident is not West’s only recent clarification. He also addressed a purported bucket list circulating online, which he claimed was inauthentic. “That so-called bucket list is fake. It’s not my handwriting,” he declared. The list reportedly included goals such as owning a pug, skydiving, and swimming with sharks.
As for West’s current activities, he recently made a surprise appearance at a Deon Cole comedy show in Hollywood. During the event, Cole inquired about any upcoming projects, to which West cryptically replied, “New album.” He did not divulge further details about the anticipated release.
West’s personal life has also seen recent developments. He reunited with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, to celebrate the holidays, focusing on their children. According to information from TMZ, the former couple is currently maintaining a cordial relationship. Sources indicate that West is “really working on himself” following a series of controversial incidents in recent years.
This string of events highlights West’s ongoing efforts to manage his public image while also nurturing his artistic endeavors. As fans await more information about his forthcoming album, it appears that West continues to navigate both personal and professional challenges in a highly publicized manner.
