Boyertown Halloween Parade Draws Enthusiastic Crowd on October 18

The 72nd annual Boyertown Halloween Parade, organized by the Boyertown Area Historical Society, took place on October 18, 2025, attracting a large crowd to the streets of Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Since its inception in 1912, this beloved tradition has brought together local businesses, organizations, and community members to celebrate the Halloween season with creativity and enthusiasm.

This year’s festivities featured an array of floats and costumed entries, showcasing the talent and imagination of participants from various local groups. Parade chairperson Adriane Zapien expressed her satisfaction with the event, stating, “This was a great year. We even added the Get’z Steam Calliope to end the parade.” The musical performance added a vibrant touch, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

In the Best Float category, the results were as follows:

– 2nd place: Impact Twirlers
– 3rd place: Boyertown Optimist Cheer

In the Most Creative Costume or Theme category, the winners included:
– 1st place: Laurie Bossler – Boyertown Granny Club
– 2nd place: The Miller Family – The Last of Us
– 3rd place: Dominic Danielle – Spooky Kids

Additionally, the Best Marching Unit honors were awarded to:
– 1st place: Boyertown Area Senior High Marching Unit
– 2nd place: Boyertown Legionettes
– 3rd place: Boyertown Middle School East and West

The Best Represented Business or Organization award went to:
– 1st place: Sacks and Sons – The Great Pumpkin
– 2nd place: Once and Done – Creeping Thru the Night
– 3rd place: T’s Trimming – Festive Fall
