Background and Qualifications

Before pursuing her medical degree, Dr. Rajotte-Caron worked as a surgical assistant at Kanata Plastic Surgery in Ottawa, Canada. Her diverse career includes significant contributions to humanitarian efforts, notably with the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). As a registered nurse, she was part of the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART), which was deployed to the Philippines in the aftermath of the devastating typhoon in 2013. Additionally, she has provided humanitarian aid in El Salvador, showcasing her commitment to global health and wellness.

Dr. Rajotte-Caron holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in Quebec and earned her Doctor of Medicine at Saint James School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her General Surgery training at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville, North Carolina. This extensive training equips her with the skills necessary to provide high-quality care to her patients.
