Nothing Technology has officially unveiled its latest products, including the Nothing Phone 4a Pro and the Nothing Headphone (a), which will be available in the United States. The announcement, made on March 12, 2024, marks a significant step for the brand as it seeks to expand its presence in the highly competitive tech market.

Features of the Nothing Phone 4a Pro

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro features a sleek metal unibody design, measuring just 7.95mm in thickness, making it easy to grip. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and offers configurations with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device comes with options for 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The phone boasts a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800×1260 and a refresh rate of 144Hz. An impressive 5080mAh battery supports fast charging at 50W via a wired connection. Additional features include stereo speakers, IP65 water and dust resistance, and a suite of cameras: a 32MP front-facing camera and a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP telephoto lens that offers up to 140x “ultra” zoom, a 50MP main sensor, and an ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree field of view.

The phone’s rear design incorporates a clear section housing the camera and the innovative Glyph Matrix, which consists of 137 mini-LEDs that are 57% larger and twice as bright as its predecessor. This feature can be customized to display notifications, contacts, and more. The device runs on Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1, with promises of three years of Android updates and six years of security patches.

Introducing the Nothing Headphone (a)

Alongside the phone, Nothing also launched the Headphone (a), an over-ear headphone priced at $199, which is $100 less than its predecessor, the Headphone (1). The new model is available in a range of colors, including Pink, White, Black, and a limited-edition Yellow, which will be released on April 6, 2024.

The Headphone (a) offers an impressive playback time of up to 135 hours on a single charge. It features familiar physical controls, including a roller wheel and buttons, which allow for easy navigation. The headphones weigh 310g and incorporate breathable memory foam cushions for added comfort.

These headphones come equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC), which has received positive feedback in early testing, as well as Spatial Audio capabilities. They also have an IP52 durability rating and three microphones designed to enhance environmental awareness. Users can manage settings and controls through the Nothing X app.
