JTBC has released new teasers for its upcoming romantic comedy, “Surely Tomorrow,” which explores the emotional complexities of love. The series centers on former lovers Lee Gyeong Do, portrayed by Park Seo Joon, and Seo Ji Woo, played by Won Ji An. They first fell in love at the age of 20 and later rekindled their relationship at 28, only to face a tumultuous breakup. Years later, their lives intersect again when Gyeong Do, now a journalist, covers a scandal involving Ji Woo, who is the wife of the man at the center of the controversy.
The teaser highlights both the tender moments and the dramatic reunion between the two characters. It captures the intensity of their past relationship, suggesting that their love left lasting impressions on each other. Gyeong Do expresses a desire to suppress his emotions when he encounters Ji Woo, indicating that she still holds significant importance in his life. During a poignant moment, Gyeong Do drunkenly admits he couldn’t face her sober, while Ji Woo confesses, “I really really love him, but I can’t stay by his side.”
As they navigate their feelings, Gyeong Do questions, “Is this love?” This sentiment resonates with viewers who are eager to understand the reasons behind their separation despite their deep affection for one another.
In addition to the emotional teaser, JTBC also released a mood film showcasing romantic dates between Gyeong Do and Ji Woo, further building anticipation for the series. “Surely Tomorrow” premieres on December 6, 2023, at 10:40 p.m. KST. Fans can catch Park Seo Joon in his previous hit, “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim,” and Won Ji An in “If You Wish Upon Me” as they await the debut of this new series.
