He dedicated much of his professional life to Great Lakes Office Solutions and was a respected member of the Rotary Club, known for his unwavering commitment to community service.

John is survived by his mother, Peg Pickar, siblings Christine Beck, Bruce (Amber) Pickar, and Andrew (Kate) Pickar, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Joshua (Desiree) Butler and Elise Pickar. His father, Arthur Pickar, predeceased him.
