Evansville Thunderbolts Host ‘Pucks & Paws’ Night for Animal Rescue

The Evansville Thunderbolts will host a special event titled “Pucks & Paws” on March 21, 2026, during their home game against the Quad City Storm. This initiative aims to support the Warrick Humane Society (WHS) by donating a portion of ticket sales to aid in the rescue and care of pets in need.

Fans attending the game at the Ford Center can contribute to this cause by purchasing tickets using a designated QR code or the promo code WARRICK. For each ticket sold at the price of $17, $5 will be donated directly to WHS. This collaborative effort not only provides an exciting night of hockey but also promotes community involvement in animal welfare.

In addition to the game, WHS will be present with several adoptable dogs, offering fans the opportunity to interact with these furry companions. Attendees are encouraged to visit the WHS booth to learn more about supporting local rescue efforts and potentially finding a new pet to adopt.

The Thunderbolts’ initiative reflects a growing trend among sports teams to engage with local charities, enhancing the experience for fans while benefiting the community. As the event approaches, excitement builds for an evening that promises thrilling hockey action coupled with heartwarming moments with adoptable animals.

This partnership between the Evansville Thunderbolts and the Warrick Humane Society showcases how sports can serve as a platform for positive change, encouraging the public to take part in meaningful causes while enjoying a night out.
