UPDATE: The latest singer brand reputation rankings have just been released, revealing that BTS continues to dominate, with a staggering brand reputation index of 7,409,314. This marks an 8.81% increase from the 6,809,220 they recorded in December.
In a compelling battle for musical supremacy, BLACKPINK has also made significant strides, climbing to a brand reputation index of 6,213,487. This represents an impressive 76.65% increase from their previous index of 3,517,427 in December.
According to Gu Chang Hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, both groups have leveraged their global tours to enhance their brand appeal. “The BTS brand, which announced a full-group comeback with a world tour, ranked first, and the BLACKPINK brand, which left a strong impression with their pink-themed world tour, ranked second,” he stated.
The rankings are derived from a comprehensive analysis of consumer data, focusing on four key areas: participation value, communication value, media value, and community value. This analysis allows insights into how and why consumers engage with these artists.
In third place is Lim Young Woong, who recorded a brand reputation index of 5,231,902, reflecting a 13.60% decrease from his previous index of 6,055,100 in December.
