Jerome F. Bartel, aged 91, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 31, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Judith “Judy” Bartel, and his children, Susan (Edward) Carroll and David Bartel. His legacy continues through his grandson, Paxton Carroll, as well as his brother-in-law, Ted (Mary Ann) Horner, along with many other family members and friends who cherished him.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM on January 10, 2026, at Klecatsky & Sons West Chapel, located at 1051 South Robert Street in West St. Paul. Attendees are invited to gather two hours prior to the service to honor Bartel’s life. Following the service, a private entombment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul.
Bartel’s family has expressed a preference for memorial donations to be directed to the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, an organization dedicated to providing assistance to those in need. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Inver Glen Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care during this time.
Jerome Bartel’s life was marked by deep familial bonds and a commitment to his loved ones, which will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His passing is not only a loss for his family but for the community that he touched throughout his long life.
