Queens Shooting: 24-Year-Old Man Killed, Suspect Still At Large

UPDATE: A 24-year-old man was shot dead in Far Rockaway, Queens, just after 6:40 p.m. on December 30, 2025, and the suspect remains on the run, according to police. Officers from the 101st Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting at 289 Beach 14th St. and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and arm.

Emergency responders rushed the man to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Authorities have not yet released his identity as they await family notification.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and police have yet to provide a description of the suspect(s) involved. The motive behind this violent act remains unclear, leaving the community on edge.
