UPDATE: JetBlue is set to launch its first BlueHouse airport lounge on December 18, 2025, at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York City. This opening represents a significant milestone in JetBlue’s ambition to elevate its status as a premium airline, clearly differentiating itself from competitors like Frontier, Spirit, and Southwest.
The BlueHouse lounge, located in Terminal 5, spans 9,000 square feet and features a stylish, inviting design that reflects the vibrant culture of New York. According to Marty St. George, JetBlue’s president, “BlueHouse has been years in the making” and embodies the airline’s commitment to providing a premium, customer-first experience.
The lounge will serve a range of curated offerings, including beverages from Joe Coffee and Please Don’t Tell, along with food options by Union Square Events. Guests can look forward to local favorites such as bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches in the morning, and pastrami on rye or chicken Caesar wraps later in the day.
Designed with an apartment-like ambiance, BlueHouse will showcase local art and Art Deco elements, providing a uniquely JetBlue experience. The space will also include Wi-Fi access, power outlets, and a game room featuring JetBlue-branded cards and children’s toys, catering to both work and leisure needs.
Access to the lounge will be exclusive to Mosaic members, JetBlue Premier Cardholders, and transatlantic Mint customers. Depending on their status, members can bring guests into the lounge, enhancing the travel experience for frequent flyers.
In conjunction with the BlueHouse launch, JetBlue is enhancing the overall travel experience at JFK with significant upgrades, including 40 new retailers and amenities in Terminal 5, as well as a planned rollout of upgraded domestic first-class cabins set to begin in 2026.
Looking ahead, JetBlue has plans to open its next BlueHouse location at Boston Logan International Airport in 2026, continuing its commitment to providing premium services for travelers.
