The highly anticipated Netflix House officially opens to the public on December 11, 2023, at Galleria Dallas. This new venue allows fans to engage with their favorite shows and movies in a uniquely immersive setting. Covering over 100,000 square feet, Netflix House offers a year-round exhibition featuring popular titles such as Wednesday, Squid Game, One Piece, Stranger Things, and the A Knives Out Mystery franchise.
Dallas becomes only the second city in the U.S. to host a Netflix House, following the launch in Philadelphia. A VIP event held on December 9 allowed media, influencers, and local celebrities to preview the space. Among the notable attendees were David Harbour and Cara Buono from Stranger Things, along with stars from other popular series.
Inside the Experience
Visitors can expect a variety of interactive offerings designed to immerse them in the worlds of their favorite shows. Entry to Netflix House is free, but guests are encouraged to explore the experiential rooms, which require a fee. The Stranger Things: Escape the Dark and Squid Game: Survive the Trials rooms are priced at $39 per person and each experience lasts about one hour. In the Squid Game room, participants can engage in five different games, including the iconic Red Light, Green Light challenge. Meanwhile, the Stranger Things room features a mission to locate three missing people.
Upon entering the venue, visitors are greeted by a grand staircase adorned with artwork inspired by various Netflix properties. Ascending the stairs leads to the main area, which houses Netflix Bites, a full-service bar and restaurant. The menu features dishes inspired by popular shows, including the Red Bite and Green Bite chicken bites, Emily’s Italian Fling Salad from Emily in Paris, and the Huntr/x Power Up Ssam, a grilled pork dish highlighting the K-Pop phenomenon.
Entertainment and Shopping Options
In addition to dining, Netflix House features a gaming area called Netflix RePLAY. This space offers arcade games reimagined with a Netflix twist, allowing visitors to compete in interactive experiences such as a tug-of-war game inspired by Squid Game, a Bridgerton-themed ball maze, and a Floor Is Lava challenge.
A gift shop within the venue provides an array of merchandise, including T-shirts, mugs, keychains, posters, and replica props from Netflix’s most beloved series. As Netflix continues to expand its offerings, the potential acquisition of Warner Bros. Pictures could lead to the inclusion of characters and themes from franchises like DC Comics and Casablanca in the near future.
The launch of Netflix House marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to deepen fan engagement through innovative experiences. With its unique blend of entertainment, dining, and interactive fun, Netflix House is set to become a must-visit destination for fans in Dallas and beyond.
