UPDATE: The Westford community mourns the loss of Pamela J. Ricard, who passed away on November 26, 2025, at Emerson Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was 69 years old and is remembered for her deep love for her family, friends, and the vibrant community she served.
Pamela, affectionately known as “Pam,” was a devoted wife to Paul M. “Pip” Ricard, with whom she celebrated 37 years of marriage. Born on August 31, 1956, in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Gadsby) and John Lattime. Pam dedicated many years of her life as a cafeteria worker in the Westford school system, impacting countless students and families.
Her passions included gardening—especially nurturing her beautiful flowers—and a profound love for animals, including her cherished birds. A passionate fan of the New England Patriots, her family fondly recalls her energetic cheers and spirited commentary during games, often believing her voice could reach the players through the screen.
Pam is survived by her two sons, Daryl Ricard and his wife, Cicek, of Manchester, NH, and Adam Ricard of Westford, along with numerous extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Pam on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, located at 57 N Main Street, Westford. Following the service, burial and committal prayers will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westford.
The community is encouraged to honor Pam’s memory by planting a living memorial or sending flowers, as a tribute to her love for nature and life. For more details on the celebration and to express condolences, please visit www.westfordhealy.com.
Pamela J. Ricard’s legacy of love, kindness, and community spirit will remain in the hearts of those who knew her, as they gather to celebrate her remarkable life.
